OVERVIEW
Concept Development
Metallic copper with a golden sheen.
Aroma Gourmet’s banana and caramelized pear undertones serve as an introduction to the mellow sweetness of vanilla, coconut, and spices.
Having a Bite
Warm and welcoming, with flavors of candied citrus and ginger, followed by the unmistakable toasted wood of Kentucky bourbon casks.
The first cognac to arrive in America came from Martell in 1783. For this reason, Martell has created Martell Blue Swift, the first spirit beverage to be manufactured from cognac VSOP and then completed in bourbon casks, a combination that has never been done before in the history of the spirit.
Martell’s Eaux-de-vie are infused with the complex flavors and aromas of the bourbon barrel throughout the distillation process. The resulting flavor is a blend of vanilla and toasted oak from the casks, with hints of candied fruit and plum, typical of Martell’s signature style. Extremely refined, with a complex flavor and interesting personality.
Advice for Servants
Mixing a Martell with some mist
In order to improve the taste of their Martell cocktail, participants in the ritual mist one of three atomized flavors over the drink.
Advised Serving Size
A Sazerac made with Martell and accompanied by three atomizers of flavored syrups. Make your drink with Martell Blue Swift.
You can sip it neat, on the rocks, stretched out with a mixer, or mixed into a cocktail like the Julep, but the best way to experience it is in its original form, the Mint Julep, which is made with Martell Blue Swift.
