OVERVIEW
Nearly two centuries and a quarter of a millennium ago in London, distiller Alexander Gordon set out to perfect the recipe for a gin that would become famous the world over. His confidence in the efficacy of the ideal blend was crucial to his pursuit of ginmaking glory.
The Moringa Citrus flavoring in Gordon’s Moringa Citrus is a result of a meticulous distillation process. Tasty with a glass of Tonic. How about we put that to the test?
Over two hundred and fifty years ago, in London, Alexander Gordon opened a distillery and began working on the formula for a gin that would become famous throughout the world. He thought the secret to his gin’s success was in the balance between the spirit, which was distilled from grain, and the botanicals, which gave it flavor. I’m happy to report that the high bar he set has held up. The same premium gin found in the iconic green Gordon’s bottle that has won multiple awards. In the early 1900s, not long after we began bottling, we received our first large order of Gordon’s to be shipped to Australia. We commemorated the event by creating a brand-new export label that is still in use today.
The traditional Gin & Tonic is synonymous with Gordon Dry’s high quality and characteristic juniper flavor. Nowadays, Gordon’s Gin is a drink to be savored, not analyzed. It’s the ideal gin for kicking off a Friday night with loved ones or for a Tuesday night catch up with pals.
